If known, what % of interns received full time offers?:
Not Applicable
Sadness (Cons):
There is no career progression and the reward/effort ratio is probably one of the worst in finance. Moving internally has been a serious challenge despite my reviews being positive because there is no support from upper management. In terms of exit opps, you will always be behind people in IBD, even in Hedge funds where you might have an advantage. Comp is also seriously lacking.

Tips to Senior Management:
I would say that senior management already know what the situation is, i.e. every associate wants to go elsewhere and are clearly demotivated because there is no structure in place to reward them. They wont reward you in terms of comp or progression because the economics of ER dont make sense. My tip would be to just be upfront from the moment they hire you (like what Bernstein do), that the role is just short term and you should look for something else from the moment you are hired. They could also try to better place associates within the firm, but this is stretching it as senior management clearly have no influence in any part of the bank.

Happiness (Pros):
Working in research is very much dependent on your leading analyst. He will dictate work style, number of hours and how you are viewed by senior management. I've been lucky to have one that gives me autonomy and speaks well of me.
