Chose GS FIG over top M&A groups(ms jpm gs) - did I make the right decision?

chose GS indsutry group over ms m&a, JPM, centerview, ghl, - did I make the right decision? I know for sure gs fig is more interesting and couldn't get a hold on placements of some of the other groups
