I have an undergrad and Master's degree in science, and am currently working at a small life science consulting firm that works with biotech and pharma companies, primarily in market access, pricing, and reimbursement. I am really interested in jumping into finance, and was wondering if getting my CFA would be a good start. The goal would be to work in equity research first and then move to the buy side eventually.
