CFO vs FFO for utilities company

Hi everyone,
So I'm trying to evaluate a utilities company and I realised that some use FFO instead of CFO. So far I've only come across FFO when looking at reits and i'm wondering if someone can help advise on why you would use one vs the other for a utilities company. thank you vm!
