College / University / On Campus Recruiting
What were the most difficult or unexpected interview questions asked?:
Surprised by no actual biographical questions or any questions on why HSBC, why the firm etc. Instead all questions were on 3 pieces of data given to you at the beginning of the interview, at the end of the interview had to pitch an idea for 5 minutes on the data sets. Outlining your proposition and why you think the company should act in the way you proposed, the interview process was difficult. However, I think I may have just been thrown off by the lack of questions that I had prepared for.
