First be contacted by HR, then go for 1-1 meeting. Great 30 minute conversation led to a 2 hours interview process with four separate meetings with various team.

I had some experience in equity research. So I usually walk through resume first and mention about things I have done.
The hard part is the business sector and current market talk.
What I interview is a large fund, so I mentioned about the asset class they invested in. I talked about all the institutional type client they have, as well as the service they provided.
The market sector is about the US-Chinese trade negotiation. They asked about the influence at different market sector, what to expect the influence at price.
