What were the most difficult or unexpected interview questions asked?: 
The interviewer asked a lot of technical questions at the very end. Such as: -Run me through a DCF - I nearly muffed and screwed up on this one but recovered quickly. Just be sure to explain how to estimate the revenue and justify why you select your discount rate (higher vs lower) -Are there any healthcare deals you've been looking at, what comps would you look for for x healthcare company? -How would you value you a private, small, healthcare research company? -How do you value a biotech company with no Revenue?

Pretty standard interview process took 2 weeks. First talked to HR for phone screen, then talked to analyst. Asked to walk through resume and pitch stock in the healthcare space. I chose to pitch an HIV drug

I chose to take the offer because the compensation was great and the culture is really dynamic
How did you answer each of these questions (please be specific)?: 
For the DCF one, I talked about the different drugs in the pipeline and what the peak sales would be. Then I scaled each year before it, and then applied the discount rate, to get a sense for the overal cash flow. I stuttered and stumbled a few times when trying to select the proper discount rate For the healthcare deals question, I gave the example of the Celgene acquistion of Juno Therapeutics. I referenced their closest competitor, Kite, as a comparison. They got bought by Gilead for a couple billion.
